From the planning phase which starts in mid-winter to the execution on the day of the outing, it is a very professional experience. I personally have been to dozens of golf outings over the past 30 years and Willow Creek “Does it Right”. One would think that this is a private club. The day of the outing starts out with a very warm welcome by the staff. They take your clubs from your car, do the preliminary check-in, tell you what your starting holes are and then explain the rest of the registration procedure. The driving range is ready with golf balls neatly stacked in pyramids at each range position.

The golf event itself is spectacular. The tees are clearly marked with only one set of markers, the sponsor signs are placed where they should be and the course is always in spectacular shape, thanks to the Golf Course Superintendent and his crew. You truly think you are on a private course. And then there is the food and drink that does not stop all day. A full and extensive lunch is served prior to the start of the golf and then on the course the halfway house is open, the cart girls keep on passing by and on every third hole there are coolers that have additional drinks on ice. The golf day is then capped off with a full open bar and dinner for three hours. The dining attendants are very well trained and take care of all of the guests throughout the night. This is the same staff that services weddings at Willow Creek, so you can imagine how professional they are. The dining room is set up to accommodate all in attendance as well as locations for the awards and brief presentations.

Bottom Line is if you want to have a great golf outing, book your first one at Willow Creek and I know that you will be back to book your next one there as well.
